Stand In Nature And You Will Always Stand Strong – Poetry by Markus Hamence, May 2026
Stand in nature and you will always stand strong.
Not because the world suddenly softens,
but because the trees teach you how to bend
without ever truly breaking.
The ocean does not apologise for its storms.
The mountains do not ask permission to rise.
The flowers bloom beside ruins,
through cracks in concrete,
through seasons that tried to silence them.
Nature reminds you that strength
is not loudness.
It is endurance.
It is roots digging deeper
when the winds begin to turn cruel.
Stand beneath the morning sun
and remember you were not made
to live small inside fear.
You were made to grow wild with possibility,
to stretch toward light,
to become softer in spirit
yet stronger in soul.
Listen closely to the rain.
Watch how the forest survives winter
without doubting spring will return.
That is your lesson.
That is your power.
Stand in nature and you will always stand strong,
because the earth has never forgotten
how to heal itself,
and somewhere deep inside you,
neither have you.
