Mould Your Life Like Clay – Poetry by Markus Hamence, April 2026
Mould your life like clay, my dear friend,
not stiff like stone that’s only bound to break,
but soft with a rhythm in your hands,
shaped by every chance that you take.
Turn it slow in the morning light,
feel the beating of earth beneath your skin,
every doubt, you just press it down,
every dream, you can now press it in.
Don’t fear the cracks along the way,
they show the fire has touched your soul,
kiln of pressure, heat of truth,
that’s how the broken become whole.
You are the artist of your days,
no ruler to be found, no fixed in design,
just heart and spirit moving free,
your hands, your rhythm, your own time.
So spin that wheel and let it sing,
let love be what your thoughts and fingers trace,
for what you build from truth within,
no storm on earth can ever displace.
